Account & Data Deletion

How accounts work

The Cards of Tarot uses anonymous authentication.

An account is created automatically when you open the app.

It is not linked to your email address, name, phone number, or any other personal identifier.

Because of this:

• Accounts cannot be identified or managed by email
• We cannot locate a specific account outside the app

How to delete your account and data (recommended)

To delete your account and all associated data:

What happens after deletion

• Your anonymous account is permanently deleted
• All associated app data is immediately removed
• A new, clean anonymous account is automatically created
• You remain in the app, but with no previous data

This action is instant and irreversible.

Subscriptions (important)

Subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by your anonymous account.

This means:

• Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription
• Your subscription remains active until you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play
• If you delete your account, your subscription will be restored automatically on the new account

To cancel a subscription, use:

• Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS)
• Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android)

Important limitations

Data retention

• No personally identifiable information is collected
• Anonymous user data exists only while the account exists
• Deleting the account removes all associated data immediately
• No additional retention period applies
